COVID – 19 and The Hippo Events
The Hippo Events wants to keep you as safe as we can while you shop at the Hippo Events.
Here’s what we are doing

Checking the temperatures of all crew members when they arrive to help at the event.

Hand sanitizer will be available at multiple locations inside the event.

Protective barriers in place at the register areas.

Signage placed around the event to promote social distancing and hand washing

All shopping bags will be sanitized after use.

Door handles will be sanitized regularly through out the day

Bathrooms will be sanitized regularly through out the day.

All crew members will be provided with a mask and glove while helping out at the events.

One way entrance and exits to maintain a directional flow.

Offering select shopping times that you can register for where the capacity will be limited.

Providing a chart to show when the peak shopping times are so you can better plan your shopping trip.
What we are asking you to do

Stay home if you are not feeling well or have a temperature.

Use a face mask or covering when shopping at The Hippo Events is recommended.

Be mindful of social distancing

Wash your hands frequently.

When are the busiest and slowest times at The Hippo Events?
From our past events, we have come up with the times that are typically busier and the times that typically are slower so you can make a plan to shop when you feel most comfortable.

Social Distance Shopping
We are offering several times where we will limit the amount of shoppers at The Hippo Events. We will limit it to 50 shoppers for each scheduled time.

How do I shop at a social distance shopping time?
In order to maintain the limited capacity, we are asking anyone who would like to shop at one of the social distance shopping times to register for a time. At the time of registration, we will ask you to pay $5 to hold your spot. When you come to shop at your selected time, you will receive your $5 back as a shopping credit when you check out.
Why are you charging a $5 fee?
In order to prevent someone from registering for all of the social distancing shopping spots, we are asking for $5 to hold that spot for you. When you show up to shop at your registered social distance shopping time, you will receive your $5 back as a shopping credit when you check out.
